NY⇄東京の架け橋を担うPACIFIC MODEが、昨年10月にリリースした『Friend』で世界中の音楽ファン・媒体から賞賛を浴び、エクスペリメンタルポップの新境地をエーテル的な歌声で表現するニューヨークのjames Kを招いてライブ公演を開催。
james Kは、ニューヨーク生まれのヴォーカリスト/プロデューサー/マルチディシプリナリー・アーティストで、この10年以上にわたり、NYCのUNO、Inciesoというレーベルを経てUKのAD93から昨年リリースされたアルバム『Friend』は最も高い評価を受ける完成度のアルバムとなった。
リスナーに親密でありながらも高度な技術が折り合わされた本作は幻想的でエクスペリメンタルポップの新境地を感じさせるに作品になった。息づかいのような美しい歌声によって導かれる夢幻的な彼女の世界観を体感してほしい。
共演には2024年にMotion WardからUllaとの共作アルバム『It Means A Lot』、2025年にUfonicより漂流する記憶と既存している事象との独創的な組み合わせからなる連鎖反応をギターで表現するEP『A Replica Screams』をリリースした、Ultrafogが満を持してWWWに初登場。
また、日々の暮らしや過去の記憶を、声やシンセサイザーを通して紡ぐ、Doveが出演する。
DJには、Powder, 5iveと共にThinner Grooveを運営する、独自のセンスが際立つAndryがラインナップ。
PACIFIC MODEは2/7 (土)WOMBにてSustain-Releaseとのコラボ公演、2/28(土)にてWWWβ Simo Cell & K Wataを開催。

PACIFIC MODE, connecting New York and Tokyo, continues its run of events following a
collaborative show with Sustain-Release on February 7 (Sat) and WWWβ featuring Simo Cell &
K Wata on February 28 (Sat). On March 17 (Tue), at WWW, PACIFIC MODE will host a live
performance by james K, who expressed a new frontier of experimental pop through ethereal
vocals on her album Friend, released last year.
james K is a New York-born vocalist, producer, and multidisciplinary artist. Over the past
decade, she has released music through NYC-based labels "UNO" and "Incieseo", culminating
in her highly acclaimed album Friend, released last year on the UK label AD 93. Widely praised
for its exceptional level of completion, the album strikes a delicate balance between intimacy
and advanced technical craftsmanship, opening up new territory in dreamy, experimental pop.
Guided by her beautiful, breath-like vocals, listeners are invited to immerse themselves in her
ethereal, oneiric world.
Joining her is Ultrafog, who makes his long-awaited debut at WWW. Ultrafog released the
collaborative album It Means A Lot with Ulla on "Motion Ward" in 2024, followed by the EP A
Replica Screams on "Ufonic" in 2025--an expressive guitar-driven work that explores chain
reactions born from the imaginative interplay between drifting memories and coexisting
phenomena.
Also appearing is Dove, who weaves everyday life and memories of the past through voice and
synthesizers.
On DJ duties is Andry, whose distinctive sensibility stands out as a co-founder of Thinner
Groove alongside Powder and 5ive.
